Information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

** UPDATE  26th January 2022**
Information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

The developments surrounding Corona concerns many people. Many people understandably wonder what this means for their vacation. We follow the guidelines of our sector organization HISWA-RECRON, RIVM and the safety region of North and East Gelderland. All pitches have private sanitary facilities and of course that also applies to all rental units. So camping is a safe way to go on vacation. Of course we pay extra attention to cleaning. Extra hygiene measures are also taken for the cleaning of our rental, so that nothing stands in the way of your stay here either. With the right precautions, a stay at the campsite is just as safe as a stay at home. Hospitality is in our genes and these measures do not match with that. But the rules are necessary and mandatory. And hospitality is also about being able to provide a safe stay. We ask kindly for your cooperation.

These are the measures we take:

✅ Extra hygiene measures in the private bathroom, rental and reception, such as extra cleaning of hand contact points with professional means
✅ There are hand sanitizing stations that you can use at various facilities
✅ Sheets washing is done professionally (temperature> 70 degrees) and with specialized disinfectant so viruses do not survive.
✅ The indoor playground is open only for children till 12 years old
✅ Gastronomy including restaurant (3G) and take-away are open. For opening hours see: https://www.restaurant-vanhier.nl/openingstijden/
✅ The rules set by the government also apply to the campsite. Look at https://www.government.nl/latest/news/2021/12/18/slowing-the-spread-of-the-omicron-variant-lockdown-in-the-netherlands
✅ Covid protocols and instructions from the government can always be a reason to adjust in the short term the opening of facilities and the offering of activities.

What is very important: Are you sick? Stay at home!
This applies to colds, such as colds, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius. Do you also have a fever and / or shortness of breath? Then housemates also stay at home. If you have no complaints for 24 hours, you can go outside again. (source: Rijksoverheid.nl)

If you have the above complaints before you arrive, please contact us to cancel or rebook your stay. In the event of illness, your cancellation insurer will in most cases reimburse the possible cancellation costs.

If you have any complaints during your stay, we may not grant you access to our facilities and buildings on authority of the government. Stay on your pitch until you can go home. It is very important that you follow these directions. It is in our best interest that everyone follows the rules properly, so that we get through the Corona period as quickly as possible.

We will of course keep a close eye on the situation. If anything changes, we will publish it here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. We will answer your questions carefully. You can reach us at +31543-514612 or info@wieskamp.nl
